The Rad Racer Lion was made as a baby gift. The pattern was created starting with a purchased graphic, which I then turned into a pattern. This little baby boy has 2 cousins that worked in the NASCAR circuit – so it was appropriate to give him a gift reflecting that. Along with the blanket, a little skinny stuffed lion with crinkly arms and legs was created to go along with it. Baby’s mom sent me a note after getting it and said that her daughter grabbed up the stuffy as her own… I think she would have taken the blanket too, if her momma let her.
